Round Riveted Heavy Chain Mail Shirt Chest 44

Quality ok overall, I had to replace some dozens of rings because they were badly riveted, not riveted or simply broken. But it's shipped with some handful of replacement rings, so this is ok. Please note: Inner ring diameter is 10mm, not 9mm as stated.

I ordered one of these hauberks, with leather+chain mittens+tapering, and it's great. It's a pain in the ass to put on or off, but after practicing I can do it solo. Quality-wise it is excellent- so far only two rings have burst, and those were at the top-most point of the riding slit. Communication was decent, though shipping and ordering did took longer than I had expected (may have been due to asking for a specific sleeve length and a large order). My only complaint is the mittens- at the wrist there's another two inches of leather cuff, which can easily bunch up and get caught on the rings. The entrance to the mittens is also rather small and can be difficult to scrunch my hands through. Amusingly the mittens are the most difficult part of putting the armor on.

All considered I highly recommend this product. The quality is excellent, the price is much better than anything similar on the Internet, and if long shipping times don't bother you it should be perfect. 9/10

Ordered this hauberk for the upcoming 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings to complete my Norman kit. The tailoring on the sleeves is fantastic and the fit and quality of the mail overall is perfect. I have previously bought a flat riveted byrnie as well and the quality just keeps improving. Excellent speed on shipping and great communication too
