Medieval Bascinet Helmet Strong 14 G Steel Comes with Aventail

A development upon the bascinet helmet, the aventail was a flexible curtain of mail that covered the throat, neck and shoulders. Bascinet Helmet With  Chainmail Aventail And Liner chin Strip, made in 14 Gauge Steel. The Bascinet helmet was developed in the early 14th century from the Secret helmet or “Cerveliere” and was popular right up to the 15th century. Standard Adult Size fully wearable.
