I received this one month and a day from the date that I ordered it with a riveted and alternating solid steel 6 mm natural oiled finish with the optional leather edging and so far I could not be happier. With my gambeson underneath it is a snug fit under the arm pits, yet I am highly maneuverable wearing what was easy to put on and take off. The cut out out in the back reduces weight while the laces allow for easy dressing and any changes in my girth over time; Brilliant!
