This was a good deal! I have been interested in getting a mail coif, to match my mail hauberk, and matches the 11th century Norman Knight look that I dress in for Renaissance Fairs. The only downside is that when I wear my Norman helmet over the coif, some of the rings get in my peripheral vision, but that's something I can fix. The design of the coif is also incredibly, historically accurate, and it's better than the LARP stuff I've seen online at some sites, since it protects my head and neck and doesn't leave my neck open and exposed.
Looks and feels great. And as well with a Norman style helm, this can work perfectly. And do the fact it also keeps my neck protected and as well most of my entire head. Though I decided to leave the mail without any covering for the face. As I wanted it for more of a Norman style feel
solid product, well made
Same with the coifs, they functioned well but the issue is many links were uninvited. One of the coifs had the centre link at the top undone which makes it structurally less sound.
